E0 Test Books
The E0 test books are maintained against all changes in the proposed specification and represent the latest proposed feature specifications.

The E0 specification is in development. This information is subject to change at any time and is provided for those interested in exploring and evaluating the power, cost effectiveness, reading system compatibility and simplicity of the proposed E0 (ebook zero) format.

The E0 test/evalutation books are maintained against all changes in the proposed specification and represent the latest proposed feature specifications. Please check the Updated date against any test/evaluation cases you may have downloaded.
These books can be opened and viewed in AZARDI 23 Desktop or later version.
Test Book Set 1. Navigation
The content in all books is the same. Only the TOC and spine role properties changes to test the TOC navigation and spine presentation.

No role properties in the <nav> All section are linked to TOC, all sections are in linear spine navigation.

All body <nav> items contain role="toc". This excludes them from the spine. All Sections can be accessed from TOC. Using next page navigation moves from frontmatter to backmatter.

Odd-numbered body section <nav> items contain role="toc". Even-numbered body section <nav> items contain role="spine". Odd numbered sections can be accessed from TOC but are skipped with Spine. Even number sections can be accessed using next page (spine) navigation. Front and backmatter are in TOC and spine.

E0 Testbook 5 No TOC/No Spine

All body sections are not included in the <nav> list. This excludes them from the TOC and spine next-page navigation. Only front and back matter can be accessed from TOC or by linear navigation. Other pages must be accessed from an internal link contents page.
